I'm pretty sure Twitter has never been the most used social media platform, even before the Muskrat bought it and turned it into a steaming pile of Xitter. Pretty sure Facebook still has that dubious honor. Well fair, but I mean that Twitter was heavily used by left-wingers/progressives/liberals to coordinate with each other for grassroot efforts, fundraising, as well as respectable journalists/reporters giving breaking stories. FB may have more actual users, however you don't see news and journalist statements shared/blow up on FB like you do with Twitter and Musk has made it a point to wage war with those in that group who don't kowtow to him.
