We've already established that the admins are gonna swap tracks on a whim, that the opinions of anyone not directly in Fandom corporate is worthless, and that they refuse to give any information because we can't be trusted.

So what's the point in having moderators tell you to dispute?

It won't change the rules, it won't even explain the rules.
These rules are new to the moderation team just as they are to everyone else. Which means moderations are not going to be perfect at first. Disputing them, is important because it gets the moderation in front of more moderator eyes to catch where mistakes were made so we can collectively be better at enforcing the rules which, will help everyone have a better idea of what it allowed. Because I agree, right now it feels a bit chaotic.

Also if it's overturned it comes off your record. Which is good.
