I already have a full size truck.

Honestly the price of gas doesn't impact me personally that much. I'm 10 miles of mostly highway driving one way from home to work. So I drive 20 miles round trip a day. That is 100 miles a week.

I fill up about every 3 weeks. A tank will cost currently about $75. If it was a $1 cheaper it would only be costing me about $23 less per tank. Considering I fill up once every 3 weeks that really doesn't impact me.

I would much rather keep all the advantages of having a truck. At 6'2" I prefer getting in and out of a truck rather than a car. Especially the older I get.

In winter my truck is a must. We get bad snow here many times. I like the longer wheel base and the weight for stability along with 4 wheel drive. Then you have the height for clearing drifts when you drive into them. It's a must have for winter driving.

Then you factor in the ability to haul stuff in the bed, and the ability to pull/tow trailers, boats, campers, that sort of thing.

I'm not trading all of that off to save $20 or $30 gas here and there every 3 weeks. I make plenty of money that the difference is paltry.
WOW that's like $450 more PER YEAR Damn what do you do?
