Sounds like one of the rollers came out of their sockets. Should be an easy, cheap fix. You'll have to be mentally prepared in spending a half hour (or two hours if you're inexperienced) in repairing it if you don't want to shell out hundreds in service repair fees.

I've fixed them before when they go out my parent's home, and rent houses.

That, and it will give you a chance to clean any build-up dust that accumulated over the years. Watch out for spiders or bugs.

It doesn't even sound like the motor is engaging. I'm wondering if a capacitor or other part that kick-starts the motor has burned out
