Then that could mean that the belt itself could've snapped in two, or (best case scenario just popped out of place).

I'd tell you to manually spin the wheel to see if it's easy to turn indicating that its snapped or to turn on the dryer and press down on the safety latch while the door is open, but I don't need to be the reason for any unfortunate events. <_<

Yeah, best leave it alone and air-dry your clothes for now if you don't feel like disassembling that machine this late at night. Lol

It's a direct-drive motor (no belt).
