its not. theres an extremely advanced species out there and they are just getting even more advanced as we speak. they are currently preserving everything on their own solar system and soon, the galaxy and then the universe. hopefully they discover us before earth is destroyed.if there really is a super advanced species out there that is capable of intergalactic travel, i'd say chances are better that they aren't preserving anything but exploited and consuming everything --- It don't matter.
