Topic	How much was your first rental, after you left your parents' house?
archizzy 04/21/24 3:45:37 PM #6:	Mine was $275 a month for an apartment when I was in high school in 1993. But I live in the Midwest in a heavy rural farming state that has a low cost of living. For instance even right now today you can get a decent apartment in a college town of about 40,000 people for $700 and that includes free high speed Internet and doesn't charge you for water/garbage. You only have to pay for your utilities which are dirt cheap. It also comes with a community pool and gym and a recreation area and other amenities.
