It's "funny" in that the people who accused black people of having this degree of insane fervor for Obama are the ones who actually feel it for Trump. It really is always projection with them.

I honestly don't think it would help him anymore than him coming outside and lying would do. In fact it would likely drive fence sitters away because he'd lie about what happened inside, yet they'd have the footage themselves to verify if it's true or not. His base is already fanatically whipped up and tapped out financially. I really don't understand the thinking that he would benefit more from it being televised than the general electorate who may make or break their vote depending on what happens to him during these trials.

Accurate media reporting is fine and all, however there's no replacement for what we see and hear for ourselves. Think about if Jan 6th wasn't televised live and all we had was reporters talking about. Not nearly the same impact.
