Even Republicans can understand the threat when briefed by their staff and national security experts.

Democrats understand basic governance.

Republicans supported January 6th. They don't give a shit about national security or even their own security, or the security of their staff. The vast majority of the ones who claimed didn't bowed down to those responsible in the days and weeks afterward any way. They were all running from people who were shouting "hang Mike pence" and beating the shit out of police officers for hours and then turning around and acting like none of that happened.
