It's better than I remembered on replay, mainly because Barnham is a surprisingly fun prosecutor, and having the whole gang together for one case is fun; this is the only case where Layton is co-counsel. The murder is a little more interesting than I remembered, it has some stuff going for it. Kira is kinda fun, although I still find it bizarre that she has just a single name - the character designs in this game, and in this case particularly, don't really do it for me. Still, it's decent.
