This. The mental gymnastics people employ on CE to try to act like she isnt immensely talented or anything just because they think it might threaten is lulzy. Taylor doesnt throw punches if they dont deserve it so dont worry, she isnt gunning for the legacies of the Beatles or MJ.no one's insulting Taylor Swift by saying she's not as big as Michael Jackson. it's not a matter of quality, since we all have different opinions, and there are masterful musicians/artists who will never get the acclaim of either Taylor or Michael. it's just about numbers, cultural impact, and stuff like that. it's also not a bad thing to come in #5 or 10 when you look at who you're being compared with. --- "I could never encapsulate all my cosmicality on my own." - mr.
