Buu explicitly nukes Earth, Beerus nukes planets without even much fanfare, Goku and Beerus had punches clashing that nearly destroyed the universe, Goku survived and bust out of a black hole...

Like, by scaling alone, everything they do is far beyond the speed of light and far beyond tanking planet-destroying blows. It just ends up getting treated like RPG stats because AT ran out of ways of how to justify having surfaces for people to fight on.
