It's no different than living on the beach knowing full well that a well-placed tsunami can U-Haul your house, cars, and family tree for free. Or here in the northeast where every winter you can have a nor'easter just dump two feet of snow in 24 hours and completely freeze (hurr) everything up for days or in the summer we get the corpses (or sometimes live!) tropical storms and even the near or actual category 1 hurricane.
