Sure, it was due to the financial system nearly collapsing due to corporate greed through monetizing bad mortgages, but it still happened. Yeah, I'll give you that. One historic event caused a decline. But it isn't something I'm expecting to see again. I'm nearly 50 and I wouldn't count on one little blip like that to be something I could depend on in the future to buy a house if I was looking.
