Again, network sitcoms have always been super toothless and safe outside of a couple shows per decade and a very special episode here-and-there. All of the shows Seinfeld mentioned, as well as Seinfeld (the show) itself were pretty milquetoast comedy-wise.

there have been some shows like 2 Broke Girls that snuck their offensive comedy through, even on CBS, because most of the network censors probably couldn't even relate to any of the jokes so they had no idea they were offensive.

plus that show had a pet horse, so instant rich people points
