He wants to prolong the war while maintaining his far right coalition until the day he dies, because it's the only thing keeping him out of prison for corruption and possibly for his role in Oct 7th via funding Hamas in his braindead attempt to weaken the West Bank and prevent Palestine from gaining statehood. This is precisely why Bibi refuses to fill the power vacuum whenever Hamas is eliminated in an area.
