Topic	I wish folks realized how "From the river to the sea" feels to Jews

It doesn't matter how you feel about the israel/palestine issue, which is why Im trying not to engage in any discussion or debate about that. Protest the genocide and apartheid, ask for a free palestine, that is fine. but chanting this is going to turn people against your cause because Jewish people hear this and feel unsafe. This is something that the left would be very sensitive to in any other circumstance for a different minority in America. Considering how the chant and the ongoing genocide are inextricably linked, no you don't get to say, "that's off topic, we aren't talking about that :(" And also I genuinely don't care how they feel about the chant, there's a genocide going on. --- As the morning sun rises, my lingering memories fade.
