It was a good call to have Phoenix actually face the potential consequences of the DC Act, even if for practical purposes, it didn't affect him much. It was also a brilliant decision to have Rayfa be the investigation partner so you can learn to sympathize with her and she can learn to sympathize with Phoenix. The first trial day is a mixed bag. It's kinda wild to me that Datz lies through his teeth the entire day, you expose that he was lying through his teeth the entire day, and then Phoenix loses the case anyway. I guess it drives home how unfair the system is. Trial Day 2 is outstanding though.
