And I'm saying that offensive stuff still flies in Always Sunny. Comedians can get away with saying just about anything depending on context and how things are phrased.

The reason it works in Always Sunny is because they're not making jokes at the groups they're insulting, they're making fun of themselves of their characters ignorance and prejudices. This conveys a much different message than some conservative comedian who just insults trans people for 20 minutes. This is a difference that some people seem to really struggle with, especially conservative comedians.
