Yeah it is offensive. But it happens because of the characters. The offensive stuff in the newer episodes are forced through writing, and it isnt the same. Seems more like shock value, where the earlier seasons were just bad characters being bad. And no it never stops. One of the recent seasons has an episode called The Gang Turns Black.
