It is mostly people around the same age group as on this site playing. When I played in 2019 i met quite a few gen z's tho. Hell apparently I could be gen z as well Haven't seen them log in in a while tho. But I suspect many f2p players are on the younger side just based on their lingk --- I'm a Taurus.
