They suspended the requirement because the requirement was causing issue with people being able to log in. They couldn't handle the demand at launch from my understanding. uhh have you just...ignored every major online game launch in the last 20 years? because that literally always happens launch numbers are always inflated, no dev/publisher is going to pay an entire year's lease for enough servers to cover the launch rush when they know that traffic will be gone in a month. that's why blizzard's major game launches still have login queues, and always will --- I could see you, but I couldn't hear you You were holding your hat in the breeze Turning away from me In this moment you were stolen... ...
