So even if we round favorably to support your position, drug use is largely equivalent in rural and urban settings but that only reflects in a higher rate of violent crime in urban settings.

Anecdotally, the meth heads in rural areas at least have a place to lay their head at night bc they're still buds with people they went to school with. In urban areas these people are much more desperate which results in their criminal behaviors
