The lack of Gumshoe is unforgivable. You can't do a cutesy throwback and not include Gumshoe. I am mad at this. I actually lowered my score by half a point thinking about this.

Ellen is okay I like the humour with her character. Sorin less so. He eventually gets better, like the ending still made me sappy and all. But I kind of wish they hinted better that his attitude at the beginning is because of his health and not just because he's an asshole.

I feel like the main characters are hit or miss. I wish Larry would finally get some character development after six years. Maya is a little too stupid in a few spots. Edgeworth also seemed a little too mean too? The judge shutting down Edgeworth for not being romantic is perfect. This is weirdly one of the best Judge moments in the franchise.

Pierce is ... fine? He's one of those characters like Nahyuta that have like a coolness factor to their design but the writing isn't that great.

Athena was funny but this just reminds me of how she doesn't have a game to her own, and now I'm sad.

The mystery is such a let down. I wish they were crazier about the time travel plot, instead of just making such a dumb little excuse. Honestly, I kind of wish they just made time travel real. Would it be stupid? Yes, but it would be more interesting.

Honestly, I'd probably be nicer to this if this wasn't the last case in the series + DLC. Inoffensive filler, but an awful way to go out for Phoenix and friends. EXCEPT FOR GUMSHOE WHO WASN'T EVEN INVITED TO THE PARTY.......
