- The action is mostly live action. There's some tactical command queuing
- There's no character skill choices at all
- No character role choice at all. You are cloud, these are your stats
- There is some very basic weapon upgrade progression, but (at least for me so far) it's very linear
- The world is super linear. I've been going down a hallway for 10 hours straight. I imagine it will open up a bit later.
I'm enjoying the game but I don't think it's anymore of a role playing game than God of War is.
