I remember reading in Eddie Guerreros biography that once, he got so high off painkillers, that he was driving and crashed his car off an embankment and went flying out of it, and his natural instincts from his Lucha style upbringing had him subconsciously tuck and roll once he connected with the ground, which saved his life and minimized his injuries

I had a motor accident about 20 years ago where I pretty much did the same thing. For me it was judo that gave me that muscle memory, but I got off with just a minor scraping on my hip and a ruined coat.

The cop that arrived first was beyond surprised I was on my feet and said I could have died judging by the speed it all went down
