I truly don't understand why the UK is like intentionally trying to be the worst when it comes to trans rights in the western societies. It's getting to the point where they're even making U.S. Republicans blush over how far they want to go.The sad reality is we have some very vocal celebs who despise trans people, along with our media and a right wing party that will throw any minority into the grinder they can. Most polls show large support for trans rights, but our supposed left wing party just surrenders to the hate filled rags and cheers for the death of this minority group so they cant latch onto anything to 'demonize' them about.
