Keep in mind, something like 75% of republicans think the 2020 election was stolen. They already DO believe there is no reason to cast a vote. Well, I mean, they don't, because their brains are THAT far gone and they still subconsciously know that they are fucking stupid and full of shit and keep voting.

There is absolutely no constitutional right in the US for citizens to vote for president. The only reason such votes happen is that the state legislatures got tired of having a presidential election tire fire in their chambers every 4 years, so they punted their state's electoral votes to elections.

So the Sleazy Six on the supreme court would have much more legal justification than is usual for their antics if they were to get a case from a state under Republican rule where the state legislature tries to overrule an election in Trump's favor.

Of all the ignorant things I see Republicans on my Facebook feed say (admittedly that's the only place I see people being openly Republican in my circles anymore), I don't see the majority still pushing the idea of Joe Biden being an illegitimate president. I don't doubt the stupidity of anyone currently identifying as Republican, but I can't see our standard of normalcy in the electoral process being so drastically altered by the Supreme Court without some kind of unrest (even if that means through legal wars of sorts, and there would be massive protesting, though I can't say if that would turn into outright violence).
