If Trump were a lone fascist he would not be a threat. Trump the fascist with the backing of millions of fascist voters and hundreds of Republican fascist fellow travelers in various positions of power is a mortal threat. If they can get something like Project 2025 through, maybe, but that requires a big win for Republicans with the presidency and both the House and Senate first.
