I have the opposite problem of needing to have been moving continuously for a bit to count it as dashing, as opposed to Smash Bros where you tap, start to move, and immediately press the button. Just tested out, and yeah C-Sticking doesn't work. That seems like such a simple fix too. You CAN instant Dash Attack by double tapping the direction and attacking, but not being to do the opposite easily is annoying. I'll be on for a while if anyone wants to play together.
