Yes right now a point in the FFVIIR boards is that BF3 sold well because its a good game (which I cant deny its a good game) but because of the type of genre in is its sales are more hard to pin down if people legit bought it be a its a good game or simply out of word of mouth. And in terms of discussion using it as an example of what to do is kind of condescending anyhow because plenty of good games are out there and dont even hit those numbers.

Same goes for Palworld but Im not going to argue that Palworld is good so much as it has a fun loop but is marred by being compared to Pokmon and having janky art assets that dont mix.

Average play time on BG3 is documented at 100hrs. Average.

For comparison average on Elden Ring is 45, and 75 for Skyrim.

I would say public sentiment lines up . I don't like BG3, mind.

As for my hot take, Bloodborne is the worst Soulslike. All the builds are extremely samey.
