I'm sure there are plenty of trans people who don't prefer the "latinx" label and will prefer whichever pronoun they want. The ones that prefer "latinx" may do so for very niche reasons, but I really don't see what difference it makes. No one is going to lock you in prison for saying "latino." Let people be free do what they want and represent themselves in the manner they prefer. It costs you literally nothing.

I would still like to hear her explanation, but thanks for the response. The struggle Im having with this one is I know reasonable Democrats who specifically prefer different labels, meaning instead of universal terminology (which can sometimes be challenging to keep up with), Im having to remember specific terminology for different groups within the same umbrella who feel differently. I try my best to respect people and avoid words that offend them, but my memory is shoddy due to medication and Im not going to keep a notebook.
