You're treating "trans people" as a single entity, when in reality is a myriad of individuals. You're speaking as if this is some sort of internal contradiction when it isn't. No single group is a monolith. But terminologies that are known to offend members of that group should be avoided. People who have a problem with Latinx conceptually arent talking about finding a more grammatically friendly term for the trans community, and complaining about their community being invaded by their own people.
