I believe 10,000 steps a day is the recommended daily amount of steps for an adult. The key is consistency. Since walking is a low intensity workout you may not see results as fast as other workout routines, but trust me it is helping with your overall health. Combine that with a healthy diet and you should be good to go. Good luck!
