Topic	Would you rather get curbed 1/3 through a boss or die on the last hit?

Getting stomped means that I'm still not used to it while getting to the end probably meant that I had learned the fight but I guess if it meant that the fight wasn't too hard and I lost at the end then I'll get it next time but if I'm going against a really annoying boss and I might have gotten through by luck then dying at the end would really destroy me.
