I disagree. Men can always make more money to become attractive. Women have intense pressure to worry about their looks even after they are successful.

Men also typically age much better, I think most guys look way better at 50 than women do in general. Shit, many of the hottest girls in your high school will have trouble comparing to those days a mere 20 years later.

The only thing that has gotten better for women is fat acceptance, but still to this day women are valued for their looks partially. Hot women have a lot of advantages and many women want to be considered hot. Male attractiveness is also not the main thing a man provides, hot men sure have a leg up but being successful educated and fitting the mold of a Father is typically far more attractive to females in general especially as people age.

You can also look at plastic surgery use by the population and females are far more likely to use those services than males. If males were worried as much about their bodies and how they look those numbers should be equal. Women are nearly 8 times more likely to use the services of plastic surgery than males are in general.
