Like...if the obvious best candidate was a man, yeah, sure, pick him up. But the Biden/Harris camp was always eyeing the northeast as the only swing states they need to hold, grabbing a New England VP feels pretty logical. Like Gretchen Whitmer was floated at one point (governor of Michigan) obviously for very similar reasons.
Also, I think the political environment is different than it was in 2016. Pro abortion has been killing it at the voting booths ever since Roe v Wade was overturned. Just seems like a more friendly political climate for a double woman ticket.
I think a dual woman ticket would work. But if they really want to make the GOP sweat?
Jasmine Crockett. Galvanizes the youth, black, and woman vote and puts an attack dog on the scene. Not to mention it would put Texas in play.
