yeah obviously the facts matter for...what, historical records? the SS director already resigned, the shooter is dead. whatever he got his ear cut by doesn't change the fact that it was an assassination attempt.

even if it gets proven a bullet didn't graze him he'll just switch to talking about how someone tried to shoot him, which will make no difference to the people he's trying to get to vote for him anyway.
