Bahamut, for instance, is a whale with a super freaky bull on its back. Nothing to do with a dragon. They just think the name sounds cool I guess. Could be worse. CW was gonna introduce Isis in a show but wanted to change her to middle eastern. Fortunately they saw the error in that. Isis is a Egyptian goddess iirc and the character is black Adams daughter who's from khandak which is based on Egypt. But we all know what we associate the name Isis with now. They kept the middle eastern angle for the character but changed the name --- I put my heart and soul into my work and I fear I have lost my mind in the process ... Copied to Clipboard! |
