People figured out that you don't have to sell some content to some people, when you can just push the audience to the millions. At some point it's easier to get 1 cent on average from a million people, than 10 dollar from 1000 people, and the big online personalities / influence / content creators are simply there. Same problem with the F2P / micro transaction bs in the gaming market. Quantity beats quality. Honestly, I would not mind it anyways. I'm not the audience, so I could ignore it. The issue is that YouTube these days is just a clickbait infested wasteland, and it gets harder to find some content besides that. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
