I live it. Closing early polling locations, limiting staff, limiting drop off box locations, limiting the time you get to go to those places. Not being able to get time off to go to those places that can be very far out of the way. Trying to ban people helping those that can't get a ride. At least on voting day, as long as you are in line before polls close, you will still get to vote and it will(should) be counted.

I don't see anyone saying don't try to vote early if you can. Nor anyone saying not to make sure if you have to vote by mail to insure that it is counted. That's not something anyone is pushing back against. You bring it up as if someone is saying otherwise. That's why I said you are being dismissive and deflecting away from the complaints being made. Again, people are simply talking about the shittiness of the laws that Republicans put forth.

There is no argument there. I have never once denied the water ban was a shitty thing along with every other law or non-law the Republicans use to suppress votes. All I ever said that, when compared to everything else you've listed & everything else I've listed & everything in this fucked new law Kemp signed, the water ban literally doesn't even register on my thoughts until someone posted the link reminding me that it existed. It's not a hand wave or dismissal. It's just triage at this point. And after all that, we still haven't gotten into blatantly illegal voter suppression that Republicans are happy to look the other way on. Like destroying ballot boxes / their contents, physical threats, private vandalism, actual violence, and so on.

It's just fucking bizarre to me that all this shit can be going on and my statement about the water is the controversy.
