I've refused the McDonald's app since the start because they immediately demanded location access and I said "Fuck that" I turned location off for every app except my phone and camera. It's amazing how much more battery life I have now, ~3 days. Just Paypal, and a banking app otherwise. No restaurants, retailers, or supermarkets.
