Topic | It just dawned on me how stupid traditional neckties are in this day and age |
kirbymuncher 08/26/24 12:02:04 PM #57: | Glob posted... surely by the time you reach adulthood the vast majority of people have been to some sort of formal occasion, whether its a wedding, funeral, job interview or whatever?honestly I kinda wonder I've had job interviews. I did not wear a tie, and neither did any of my interviewers, ever. Would have been really weird vibes honestly. I've had family members pass away but never any sort of "normal" formal funerals. Most recently was my grandmother and our big family event thing was a celebration of life where (among other things) we ended up going to her favourite casino and playing penny slots for a few hours (everyone took a turn on her favourite machine) I wore a tie for the first time at a wedding not too long ago. Other than that, I just... haven't really attended weddings? Marriage rate in my demographic is not super high and even after that I think it's becoming less and less common to have big fancy ceremonies. The wedding I wore a tie to had a total of 7 people including the couple themselves --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!! THERES SO MUCH PEOPLE READING AND POSTING STUIPED STUFF ... Copied to Clipboard! |
