Topic	Why does J.D. Vance hate Pokemon?

I don't want to give him any credit, but letting my contrarianism take over for a moment, the story about his call to accept the VP position is probably relatable to a lot of parents, especially with memories of WFH during COVID lockdowns. Like IDK I've just never been able to muster any outrage about this story. The story also seemed to indicate he generally does listen to his kid talking to him and brings him with him on his campaign stuff. Feels like one of the only normal-ish things to come out of this campaign from him. Maybe I just relate to the situation in a weird way because my parents got fed up with my fascination with trading cards too. Pretty much this, word for word. Vance is a repugnant human being , who stans for some horrific shit. He's terrible at basic human interaction, and has all the charisma of a shoe, with none of the soul. But anyone who has ever had kids will know that they will interrupt you for no reason, at the worst times, about the dumbest, least important shit.
