I feel like most Japanese VA's sound the same to me, have the same inflection and cadence.

It's like there's one Japanese Troy Baker out there doing the voices for everything.

But that's likely because I don't speak the language. Which I think more people need to check themselves on when they're watching something with subs and saying how much better the VA work is.

I feel there is two. High pitched and excited sounding and deep and serious sounding.

You did remind me of a funny thing I saw once. Troy baker giving advice for how to get into voice acting. He said something like get a good microphone....then wait for me to die.
