| Dungeater 09/09/24 11:23:54 AM #72: | thats interesting - i dont watch a lot of anime, but thanks the the yakuza franchise, sekiro, and persona 4 & 5, im able to pick out a lot of japanese voice actors now i dont strictly adhere to subs over dubs, i just think the overwhelming majority of dubs ive heard sound more noticeably fake to me (and not in the dramatic soap opera-y way) also way too few voices in english dubbing my husband says i have autistic ears to be able to hear this shit, cuz like ill hear a character grunt for a quarter second and be like oh thats Genichiro and he'll look it up and be like bruh --- My fate was the grandest, most brilliant of them all.
