I get why people think he should have called out Miller and the GOP's many other hypocrisies, but that doesn't work. That's what he expects people to do. It's just helping him muddy the waters and keep pivoting until he's able to successfully turn things on the reporter. Staying focused on that one question is the way to go. As an added bonus, this also weakens the narrative that the media is attacking him for his right wing views.
