I'd have so much more sympathy for this if the takeaway was "We need to elect more Democrats to vote for federal LGBT protections" instead of "But we voted ALREADY, why isn't it happening?" Republicans worked the grassroots until they bled to get people in power to do exactly what they're doing now.
