The MAGA cult is getting a 2nd chance at destroying the democratic processes after failing at it the first time with J6. Trump has way more ability to install loyalists into his cabinet now than he did in 2016. JD Vance might not care about preserving the constitution like Pence did. Trump also now has absolute criminal immunity given to him by the supreme court, and knows that he can essentially do whatever he wants through executive action and won't have to defend it no matter how blatantly criminal it is.
