As long as the establishment Democrats continue their failing ideology, the left will never be united. So it seems that in order to have a chance at getting rid of the Republican party as it currently is, the establishment Democrats need to be removed first. The million dollar question is, how? Money plays an important part in politics, and rich people, even rich Democrats, are right leaning. So how can non establishment Democrats raise funds? There's also the obstacle of said establishment Democrats fighting tooth and nail (something they never do against Republicans) to keep any other ideology out of the public eye.
